Después de unos 20 años, llega desde el Bronx un leyenda viva como es el señor Grandmaster Flash, supongo que todos recordaréis aquel The Message con The Furious Five, un clásico. Puro sabor Old School a lo largo de todo el disco. Colaborando peña desde KRS-One, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Big Daddy Kane o Q-Tip, hasta el español Kase. O. Diecinueve tracks, todos producidos por Flash. Espero que os guste. Que lo disfrutéis.

Joseph Saddler, más conocido como Grandmaster Flash, es un DJ old school nacido el 1 de enero de 1958 en Barbados, aunque creció en el Bronx, Nueva York. Fue pionero de toda una serie de técnicas rompedoras como el “cutting” (cambiar de un disco que está sonando en un plato al otro sin perder el ritmo), “Duets” (retrasar manualmente los platos para repetir breves muestras de sonido), y “phasing” (superponer dos copias del mismo disco, lo que produce un sonido fluctuante ). También fue de los primeros en cambiar los arreglos de los temas utilizando copias duplicadas de discos, editando y repitiendo las partes de clímax ( “break beat”) girando los discos hacia atrás y adelante.
