Up to now es un doble álbum de Snow Patrol en el que se recopilan sus canciones favoritas, durante su carrera que comenzaba en 1994.

30 canciones entre las que se incluyen singles exitosos, versiones, rarezas y 3 nuevos temas; entre ellos Just say yes como primer single.

"Es un retrato de nosotros como banda, con todas las imperfecciones", explica Gary Lightbody. "Hemos subido una montaña y ahora miramos hacia atrás para echar un vistazo".

Se incluyen algunas composiciones de la Reindeer Section, un súper-grupo indie con miembros de Belle & Sebastian, Idlewild y Teenage Fanclub, entre otros.
